You don't need to as `fennel` the compiler comes with it's own way to compile native binaries! Here's an example[0] from one of the maintainers. It even let's you require other Lua modules and will embed along with the executable.

Sublime Text 4 with LSP-TypeScript is really nice. The official package that Microsoft ships with the TypeScript Language Server tends to stop working after a while... I'm not sure why but that's that.

It has a runner manager so you can choose whatever WINE runner you like. Default is just the vanilla runtime.

It's not hard to read, but it's just that you aren't used to it. Try Clojure without this "hard to read" mindset and see how great Lisp as tools are!

Definitely will give it a go when I have some free time!

Also, I can’t edit it right now, but would like to apologize for saying it’s “insanely hard to read”. That was rather harsh and uncalled for.

I was looking for this specific comment and I found it! An yes indeed this is very cool. Can't wait to try it when I'm home.

But you can actually build HN on Gemini!

Sadly the active development stopped, but there's an attempt to bring it back by one of the maintainers of LuaRocks.
