I can’t say much about Oatly but milk has a huge impact on the environment that isn’t put in $ value. Cows are farmed in somewhat inhuman environments where their value is mostly for milk, meat and leather. If we did this to dogs and cats, people would never accept it but we’ve been desensitized that’s it’s okay to farm pigs, chicken and cows for human consumption as long as we don’t see how it’s made.

Then there’s the methane produced by cows which is 20x worse than CO2 as a greenhouse gas.
