There's some leeway in the language there. They say they "kinda wish" that HN was a twitter account so they could block it. That's not really the same thing IMO, that could very well mean they're of two minds on the topic, or it could mean they just threw in "kinda" without thinking about it. Have they been more explicit elsewhere?


Just because there is leeway doesn't mean you have to abuse it to post things from their account anyway.


Because there is leeway I personally don't know if that's actually their preference or not.

If everyone took everything I ever said I "kinda wish" as a solid preference, I wouldn't be at all happy.


On the other hand, unless there is evidence of the contrary, it would be rude to not follow the wishes of another person in how you treat them.


Again, if that is actually their wishes.
